Cancellation, No-Show & Late Policy
Effective Date: March 1, 2025
At Still Well Interventional Pain Management, we are committed to providing timely, high-quality care to all our patients. In order to maintain an efficient schedule and respect the time of our providers and fellow patients, we have implemented the following policy regarding cancellations, missed appointments, and late arrivals.
Cancellation Policy
If you need to cancel or reschedule your appointment, we ask that you notify us at least 24 hours in advance. This allows us to offer the time slot to another patient who may be waiting for care.
- Cancellations made with less than 24 hours’ notice are considered late cancellations and will be noted in your record.
- Multiple late cancellations may result in limited scheduling privileges, including being placed on a same-day-only appointment basis.
No-Show Policy
A no-show occurs when a patient misses a scheduled appointment without providing prior notice.
- First no-show: We will send a courtesy reminder and review our policy with you.
- Second no-show: A $50 no-show fee will be charged. This fee is not covered by insurance.
- Third no-show: You may be subject to discharge from the practice or be required to prepay for future visits.
Late Arrival Policy
If you arrive 15 minutes or more after your scheduled appointment time, you may be asked to reschedule.
- We will do our best to accommodate you the same day, but this is not guaranteed.
- Repeated late arrivals may result in adjustments to your scheduling privileges.
Insurance & Financial Responsibility
Please be aware that insurance companies do not reimburse for missed appointments or late cancellation fees. Any such charges are the sole responsibility of the patient.
If you have any questions about this policy, please contact our office directly. We appreciate your understanding and partnership as we strive to provide excellent care to all of our patients.
